Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy kicked off the 2016 California Mid State Fair in Paso Robles on July 20. “The Biggest Little Fair Anywhere” got off to a Rockin Start as the Alternative Rock Favorites performed to a packed crowd on the Chumash Grandstand Arena

Fall Out Boy - who just won FAVORITE ARTIST: ALTERNATIVE ROCK at the 2015 American Music Awards, BEST ROCK VIDEO at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, BEST ALTERNATIVE BAND at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards and was nominated for Top Rock Artist and Top Rock Song (“Centuries”) at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards have cemented their position as one of rock music’s biggest selling bands.

 

Their Gold, sixth studio album AMERICAN BEAUTY/AMERICAN PSYCHO debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at #1 on iTunes in more than 22 countries upon its January 20, 2015 release. The album - released on Island Records & DCD2 Records debuted with more than 218,000 units consumed. The album’s first two singles “Centuries” and “Uma Thurman” have been RIAA certified 4x and 2x platinum, respectively. Their current single, “Irresistible” is RIAA gold certified and has more than 60 million streams on Spotify and YouTube and 30 million Pandora plays to date. The band is currently on a global tour in support of the record.

AMERICAN BEAUTY/AMERICAN PSYCHO is the followup album to the GRAMMY nominated band’s gold certified album SAVE ROCK AND ROLL, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on iTunes in 27 countries upon its April 2012 release and features the multiplatinum hit “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)” and hit “Alone Together.” SAVE ROCK AND ROLL was the band’s second #1 debut; Platinum selling “Infinity On High” topped the chart in 2007 which followed multi- platinum breakthrough album “From Under The Cork Tree” released in 2005.

Fall Out Boy has also written the song “Immortals,” featured in the Oscar® nominated Disney hit movie Big Hero 6, which topped the box office upon its November 2014 release and has already surpassed $222 million at the domestic U.S. box office and topped $4 billion globally.

California Mid State Fair  

 

The Paso Robles Event Center is home to the California Mid-State Fair, "The Biggest Little Fair Anywhere!"  

 

The Fair opened in 1946 and was first known as the San Luis Obispo County Fair. The California Mid-State Fair is held annually and runs for 12 days at the end of July. The Fair has hosted some of the biggest names in the music industry. Artists such as Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Journey, John Mayer, Rod Stewart, Fergie, Justin Bieber, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Christina Aguilera have all performed on our Chumash Grandstand stage.

The Paso Robles Event Center is open year-round. It is a convention center complex located on 40 acres in Paso Robles, California. Facilities include a 200-by-300-foot indoor equestrian arena seating 7,587, a 18,000-square-foot community building, and two other commercial buildings.  

 

In addition to the Fair, concerts, trade shows, and conventions other specialty events are scheduled to take place at the Event Center.
