Washburn Introduces Its New Heritage Series Acoustic Guitars  

 

Buffalo Grove, IL, January 21, 2016 — Washburn Guitars introduces its new Heritage line, splitting it into the 10, 20, 30 and 40 series. The differences are primarily based on the choice of back and side woods with the Heritage 10 being Mahogany, Heritage 20 - Rosewood, Heritage 30 - Tamo Ash and Heritage 40 - Flame maple. Most models feature a solid spruce or cedar top.

The Heritage 10 Series encompass 9 models that carry on the strong Washburn tradition of providing a truly superb instrument at a working musician price. They are available in dreadnought, folk and grand auditorium styles. Most are available in natural finish with B designating black, TB for tobacco burst and LH for left handed. All feature solid spruce tops (solid cedar on 11 Models and solid mahogany on 12 series) for superior tone that improves with age. All have mahogany back, sides and neck, a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, diecast tuners for quick, easy and accurate tuning, a Washburn tortoise pickguard and a custom rosette. Models are also available with cutaways for superb upper fret access and Fishman 301T Tuner /Preamps for natural amplified tone.

The Heritage 20 Series are a step up from the 10 Series with an upgrade to rosewood back and sides and Ebonite tuning buttons. Other specs are the same. Two dreadnought models are available, the HD20S and HD20SCE that includes a cutaway and Fishman 301T Tuner/Preamp.

The Heritage 30 Series are a step up from the 20 Series with an upgrade to tamo ash back and sides and gold tuners. Other specs are the same. The dreadnought model available is the HD30SCE, a cutaway with a Fishman 301T Tuner/Preamp.

The Heritage 40 Series are jumbo body style with flame maple back and sides. Other specs are the same as the Heritage 30 Series. The HJ40SCE includes a cutaway and Fishman 501T Tuner/Preamp.
