Fun120.jpgA portion of the ticket sales from the tour will benefit The Ally Coalition, a partnership created by the band and designer Rachel Antonoff, which is devoted to encouraging and inspiring the music, fashion and entertainment communities to take action in support of LGBTQ equality. Each tour stop will showcase the Equality Village, featuring The Ally Coalition as well as other local and national LGBTQ equality organizations. fun. performed live at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, held Sunday, February 10th, 2013 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The band, made up of Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost, and Jack Antonoff, tied Kanye West, Mumford & Sons, The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach, Jay-Z, and Frank Ocean for the most nominations this year, with six each.

Their first year up for Grammy awards, fun. was nominated for Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "We Are Young," and Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for "Some Nights." They ended the night winning Best New Artist and Song of the Year.

The band took the stage early in the night to perform "Carry On." The performance featured a rainstorm in the middle of the song.

"Some Nights" is fun.'s second studio album. While the band's first album, 2009's "Aim and Ignite," received generally positive reviews, it was not nearly as commercially successful as "Some Nights." The three singles off of "Some Nights," the title track, "Carry On," and "We Are Young," helped to bring fun. into the mainstream, leading the band to an appearance on "SNL" and a whirlwind summer tour.

The multiple Grammy nominations already assure fun. a place in music history, establishing them as the first-ever rock band to score nods in the top four categories: "Song of the Year," "Record of the Year," "Album of the Year," and "Best New Artist."

Recorded at the storied Capitol Records Studio in Los Angeles, the EP (available exclusively on the iTunes Store) pairs unique versions of "SOME NIGHTS" favorites like the latest single, "Carry On," alongside a genuinely special cover of Van Morrison's classic "Queen of the Slipstream."
