Take Action Tour 2014

The Devil Wears Prada, The Ghost Inside, I Killed The Prom Queen, Dangerkids

Roadrunner Records group, The Devil Wears Prada have kicked off their headlining slot on the 2014 Sub City Take Action Tour. The trek, which features the The Devil Wears Prada accompanied by The Ghost Inside, I Killed the Prom Queen and Dangerkids got underway March 12th in Ventura, CA at the Ventura Theatre and continues through April 2nd, wrapping in Columbus, OH.

The Devil Wears Prada frontman Mike Hranica commented, "We're very excited to continue touring 8:18 and to have the opportunity to play new songs, as well as getting the chance to play for a beneficial cause. We've always tried to make a point to play charitable shows and be a part in helping out; we're all grateful to have that with the Take Action Tour."

 

Mike11.jpgThroughout the tour, The Devil Wears Prada will celebrate their new record 8:18 which arrived everywhere to critical praise this past fall. The stunning 8:18 was executive produced by Killswitch Engage's Adam Dutkiewicz and produced by the band along with producer/engineer Matt Goldman (Underoath, The Chariot). The Devil Wears Prada is: Mike Hranica - vocals * Chris Rubey - lead guitar * Jeremy DePoyster - rhythm guitar, vocals * Andy Trick - bass * Daniel Williams - drums.

Since 1999 Hopeless Records has been supporting non-profit organizations under the Sub City banner with charitable albums, tours, and events, including the Take Action Tour! Now a registered 501c3 non-profit organization itself, Sub City continues the mission of connecting bands, fans and the causes they are passionate about. Since its inception, Sub City has raised more than two million dollars for over 50 non-profit organizations!

 

Now in its twelfth year, the Take Action Tour will help benefit the Living The Dream Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides hope and inspiration to children and young adults afflicted with life threatening diseases. Their vision is to share a rich, rewarding, Living The Dream experience that they'll never forget. The foundation will bring a different fan out to select tour dates where they will have their Dream Day with the band. The Devil Wears Prada will be participating in fulfilling Dream Days with fans throughout the duration of the entire tour and have already participated in one, which can be viewed HERE. What's more, ten percent of the cost of each ticket sold is donated to Living The Dream and Sub City to help further this cause making each person attending an active participant in making the world a better place.
