CBS RADIO Alternative KROQ/LOS ANGELES invaded Inglewood for both nights of its 25th annual "KROQ ALMOST ACOUSTIC CHRISTMAS" which took place on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13th and SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14th at THE FORUM.

The “25th Annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas” took over Los Angeles Dec.13-14, finding its new home at the newly renovated Forum. With nine acts performing each of the two days, Angelinos were treated to an eclectic assault of music from one side of the world to the other.
Saturday night performances consisted of British Rock Duo Royal Blood, Dutch Pop Rockers New Politics, Ohio Electro-Riffers Walk The Moon, Chicago’s Rise Against, London Grungsters Bush, Ex-Illinois Scenesters Fall Out Boy, Calabasas’ own Incubus, Hometown Heroes Linkin Park and Glendale’s Pride and Joy System Of A Down.
Sunday included: Australian Singer-Songwriter Vance Joy, English Indie-Rockers Alt-J, New York Post-Punks Interpol, Washington’s Modest Mouse, Las Vegas Chart Climbers Imagine Dragons, English Classic New Wavers Tears For Fears, L.A.’s Weezer, Chicago Alternative Rockers Smashing Pumpkins and the band that put Anaheim on the map No Doubt.
Originally slated to perform on Sunday, U2 was not able to appear due to Bono’s recent bicycling injuries. No Doubt, who first appeared at the Acoustic Christmas in 1995, filled in nicely. This marked the 6th appearance at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas for the band, who last played in 2012 when they came out as the surprise guest.
The lineup for night one (12/13): BUSH, FALL OUT BOY, INCUBUS, LINKIN PARK, NEW POLITICS, RISE AGAINST, ROYAL BLOOD, SYSTEM OF A DOWN and WALK THE MOON.
Night two (12/14): ALT-J, IMAGINE DRAGONS, INTERPOL, MODEST MOUSE, SMASHING PUMPKINS, TEARS FOR FEARS, NO DOUBT, VANCE JOY and WEEZER.
Proceeds from the KROQ ALMOST ACOUSTIC CHRISTMAS benefit local charities PARA LOS NIÑOS and the
AL WOOTEN JR. HERITAGE CENTER.
