Luke Spiller had a successful Sold Out solo residency at The Sun Rose in Los Angeles in December 2025 ( the 5th, 12th, and 13th) to celebrate his debut solo album, Love Will Probably Kill Me Before Cigarettes and Wine, playing intimate shows with just piano, acoustic guitar, and vocals. These shows capped off a year that also included The Struts' 10th anniversary tour and a solo run in November 2025 (NYC, Philly, Boston, Nashville, Chicago). While the main 2025 solo run is complete, fans enjoyed these intimate performances showcasing his songwriting, with a possibility of future solo outings.

Ever gracious to his fans known as Strutters the singer held a Q & A before the show where he answered questions about the songwriting for the new Struts album as well as his and the group’s plans for 2026. In the Christmas Spirit many people brought gifts for Luke that the singer seemed genuinely appreciative of.

Opening his set with “The Devil In Me,” Spiller jumped in head first to showcase to the sold out Sunrose why he is revered as one of this generations most charismatic vocalists. Other highlights from his solo album included “If This Isn’t Love,” “She’s Just Like California,” and “Angel Like You,” which was a rousing Duet with Kendall Rucks. The pair the proceded into a haunting version of Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game that blended seamlessly into The Strut’s “Pretty Vicious.” Spiller also treated the crowd to some covers, Queens “Love of My Life,” and Slade’s “Merry XMAS Everbody,” and some unreleased gems “308 Earls Court Road,’ and “When I Die Will I Miss Living.” The main set ended with a grand sing along to The Strut’s “Could Have Been Me,” followed by a standing ovation encore of “Can’t You See That I’m In Love,” and “Love Will Probably Kill Me Before Cigarettes & Wine.”
